ACTING FOR THE SERIOUS STUDENT
for HOMESCHOOLERS
Ages 9 –12

This is a class for students who are keen, focused and ready to take on a greater acting challenge.

They need to have proficient reading skills and are able to work well with others. Students will continue to expand and develop basic theatrical skills in movement, voice, acting techniques, improvisation, stage presence and awareness.

Along with their skill development, they will work on a performance piece which they will perform before an in studio audience at the end of the term. Group participation and commitment is crucial to the building of a working ensemble of students, therefore attendance is very important.

Each term will have a particular performance focus exploring different styles of theatre.
