orphans and other needy

no support from any
source. Since then for
many years he personally
sponsored the education
of about 15 needy
students of Senior
Secondary School and
Primary School in
village Jatana, District

(India). The support
included their fees,
books, stationary,
clothing, etc.
In August 2005, with the
cooperation of other
persons, he registered a
charitable,
non-profitable and
non-political public
trust under the name
“Guru Amar Das Apahaj
Ashram" to take care of
the needy among the
poorest of the poor
irrespective of cast,
creed, and religion.
