CH WillowGlyn Backstreet Blues ex WillowGlyn Miss Saigon

This is the beautiful bi-blue girl (Ohhhh yesssssssss) that I 'stole' from
her breeder Yvonne Halkow of WillowGlyn Shelties.
I was visiting Yvonne, and playing with all her dogs, when lo and behold a most gorgeous bi-blue comes to great me.
Full of pee and vinegar, she was running around, giving me kisses,
with the most outgoing temperament and not a shy bone in her body.
I asked Yvonne if I could buy her and she said, "No, she is not for sale." So I kept playing with her
and decided that I would just put her in my van and take off. Well, I couldn't do that to my best friend.
I just couldn't do it. So when I was leaving, and Yvonne was in the kitchen, I put Charo in my van.
I came back and told Yvonne that I was taking Charo home with me. "Oh, no you don't!" was her answer.
I told her she was in the kennel in the van and I had to go. Well, to make a long story short,
I took Charo home. We co-own her and I finally have a gorgeous bi-blue girl at home.
Her registered name is WillowGlyn Whimsical. She didn't have a call name yet because Yvonne couldn't find a name that fit her.
I came up with Bluebell and that didn't fit her at all. Bluebell should be a goodie, goodie girl, and this one definitely wasn't that.
So I was watching her and all of a sudden it hit me. I called Yvonne and told her I had a name for her: "Charo"
Now for anybody that is older than 30 years old, you would probably remember Charo, the blonde singer and composer of
classical guitar music. Yvonne liked the name and so she is Charo. And that fits her to a T.
Her favorite toy is that big green frog, and her best buddy is Aqua, my blue merle girl,
although she plays with everybody except Spock. He thinks playing is for kids, not an older, mature gentleman.

Charo
Thank you, Yvonne, for this gorgeous brat. She comes up with the strangest ideas to get in trouble.
She is a loving, cuddly, very happy sheltie. I can't imagine not having her.
Charo started the journey towards her championship taking WB, BP and BOB on April 13, 2008.
At the 2008 CSSA National in
Calgary, May 2008, under esteemed judge Nioma Coen (Macdega
Shelties),
Charo placed 2nd in the Bred By Exhibitor class.
I think she did very well, since she was almost completely out of coat.
On Sunday at the SSFC Specialty, Charo placed 3rd in the Bred By Exhibitor class.
For barely one year old, Charo did extremely well and I am pretty proud of her.
Charo finished her championship at the October 2008 BRCA shows in Camrose.
Eyes CERF normal, hips normal, thyroid TgAA negative and vWD VetGen clear.
