Lil'Owl's Boubliwae Adventures
Chapter 6
Gazing Pools

Previous generations have written off the existence of wee folk; now our generation is recapturing it. Evolution has not been on hold; Fagles have joined the wee folk currently residing in the Boubliwae Forest. Although physical manifestations are rare, wee folk are gathering in number, and the gifted are allowed glimpses of them. As dark times close in, mother earth shudders, nature withers and other realms are forced to disappear deeper into the Boubliwae Forests. In my minds eye, I see visions during my travels; whether in the city, suburb or country side - Fagles reveal their presence. What a wonderful gift to share with you! Wee folk are emerging in spite of constant human destruction.

We know that genetic changes consistent with sudden evolutionary leaps created, Fagles. Fagles are present around the world including Boubliwae Forests. A recent newcomer to our great forest is Shadow.

Shadow possess a wondrous endowment. He is able to collect flower nectar, combine it with dew drops and create gazing pools. Adding just the right amount of sun rays and magical moon shimmers, provided by Elfin friends, turns the pools into elixir for both wee folk and creatures of the earth. Fairy folk often flutter down to one of Shadow's gazing pools to drink. The sweet potion soon causes them to emanate a frosty glow and prolongs their lives indefinitely.

Fagles are known to help gnomes care for animals. Two winsome gnomes, Eric and Eddie, were watching Shadow one afternoon and wanted some of his elixir for an old ailing cougar. The gnomes approached Shadow, who communicated to them that they should fill their acorn flasks with elixir and take it back to the den of the old cougar. After administering the elixir to the cougar, it began to act and feel young again. The gnomes waved good-by to the old cougar, who ventured out onto the ledge at the entrance of his den, where he was greeted by Shadow. They soon became inseparable friends and together now share the old cougars den.

Another forest friend of the gnomes, old Jack-Rabbit, woke late that morning to discover he had a new companion sharing his den. In the next chapter of Lil'Owl's Boubliwae Adventures you will meet Crysta.

Print off and colour our new friend

Add a bit of sparkle to the gazing pool and drops of flower nectar
Can you see why he is called Shadow?
Remember what color his eyes and cap are?
Don't forget the 5 golden freckles!
