October 4 - Once a year gnomes gather to exchange their boots for larger sizes and to spend an evening mending their old worn boots. Boots that are really worn out are set aside to be located in forests for little critters to turn into warm cozy homes. Discarded human rubber boots are collected and buried in forests to be used as shelters from heavy rain. October 17 - All the unmarried gnomettes are celebrating and crowning this year's Ms. Gnomer. She gets to go on a wonderful trip around the world with Messy Gnome to sample ethnic foods.
October 19 - email QueenGnome details of the statute shown on this month's calendar to be eligible to receive 2 gnomish Christmas Cards.
October 29 - The oats are harvested and put away for winter porridge - a favorite of gnomes around the world; especially during chilly days and nights when mother nature blankets the earth in pristine snow flakes.
October 31 - Even gnome children enjoy dressing up and receiving treats from family and friends. They usually gather at the local school.
