Medeco features restricted keys and highly pick
and drill resistant lock cylinders. The unique Medeco key 
can
only be produced by an authorized Medeco dealer along with your key card and
authorized signature(s).
Medeco makes deadbolts, locksets, camlocks, electrical switch locks, padlocks, etc. They also make high security lock cylinders to fit most other manufacturer's products. So, if you have a good lock and need key control or pick and drill resistance, Medeco probably makes an "insert" for your lock. All Medeco products are very good quality and built to last.
Deadbolts are rated by grade, starting with grade 1 as the best, then Gr.2 &3. Most deadbolts have a 1" projection bolt. The real difference is in the quality materials, strength and durability.
Make sure your deadbolt strike plate has at least 2-3" screws reaching a stud in the wall, if possible. Use a "wrap-around" or "door saver" under the deadbolt to increase door strength.

We carry a wide range of padlocks from all the major brands.
Door viewers allow you to see who is at the door BEFORE you open it. With a good quality viewer, you can clearly see who is there.

From high security restricted key systems, digital keypads, mechanical/electronic combination locks, electric strikes and magnetic locks, to card and tag readers. We open, repair and service all types of safes and vaults and sell most major brands and types. We have a variety of new and used safes in stock, and 2-3 day delivery on common models.
Larger strike plates let you install more, longer screws, to strengthen the frame side of your doorway. The screws need to be long enough to penetrate a wall stud (aprx. 3"). Better deadbolts come with at least 2, 3" screws, make sure they were used when yours were installed. Add some longer screws to the hinges as well. Door savers or "wrap - arounds" are installed under the lockset and reinforce the area around the lock increasing door strength. Blocker plates and astrigals cover the gap between the door and frame to make prying the door difficult. Hollow metal doors need support inside the door to prevent the door from crushing as you tighten the lock in place.

service, sell and repair all Schlage products. 
Schlage
Primus® offers restricted keys and drill/pick resistance. The Primus key can
also be used in a regular, non high security, Schlage cylinder. This means you
can use Primus lock cylinders on outside doors and security sensitive areas and
regular Schlage cylinders in less critical areas. A regular Schlage key,
however, will not even enter the Primus high security cylinder.
Re-key and Master key
Sunvalley can rekey your locks so the old key won't work, or key new locks to fit your existing key. We also provide master keying services.

On Prices
It is unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much you lose a little money - that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do.
