Beetle: Beetle was very shy and scared when we first brought him into a foster home. He had been living in a back alley where there was much noise and activity throughout the night. Eventually he learned how to stretch out for long, uninterrupted naps and enjoy the simple act of playing. In this early picture, Beetle is in one of his characteristic poses — watching the other kittens playing but not yet ready to let his guard down. This cat was featured in one of our newsletters.
