Special Event
Scout's Pre-Christmas Indoor Flea-Market
Hello Scouters & Friends !
We have a simply awesome opportunity for us, you, and anyone else YOU
may know!
We have secured Metchosin Community Hall, for a 'general' fundraiser,
Sunday, November 29th (10am to 3pm).
A pre-Christmas Indoor Flea-Market
With many of you going on trips next year, and the economy hum-drums
(our family have 2 children doing overseas projects alone), we thought
this would be a great time (& idea!), to clean out some of the stuff
that 'we just don't need', and rent a table and SELL it, and add $'s to
our Christmas piggy banks!
Immediate family of scouts get to rent a table for just $5 (& keep
all your proceeds, for whatever your cause). Friends, and neighbours, $10
a table, which will offset the cost of the hall!). If you don't have
enough stuff, consider sharing a table.
We have just 24 or so tables, and 4 are already spoken for! You can
sell anything! Books, bric-a-brac, household items, clothes, baked
Christmas goodies, etc. (no super large items though please!) I challenge
you to send this e-mail to at least 6 people you know who might be
interested - they will be glad you did!
It's going to be a 'bargain-finding spectacular', so spread the word,
and call me if you need to reserve your table!!! We expect a sell-out, oh,
and we are asking for a non-perishable food item at the door for the local
food banks.
