What is the MCA?
The Metchosin Community Association (MCA) is a non-profit "community-building" organization open to all members of the community. The MCA was formed in 1993.
Our Purpose
Our Association serves the purpose of initiating, encouraging and organizing a variety of educational, recreational, cultural and other community activities within Metchosin.
How we do it
With the exception of a salaried part-time office coordinator, our Association is run solely with volunteers from the community.
Why become a member?
The benefits of becoming a member of the MCA include but are not limited to:
- Early notification of events.
- Opportunity to participate in members-only events.
- Reduced rental rates of the Community House.
- Opportunity to volunteer in the community and to serve on the Board.
- Only members can vote at the MCA AGM.
- Pride in supporting the MCA's ability to provide vital services in the community.
Become a member of the Metchosin Community Association. Support and participate for only $10 a year for adults or $15 for a family. Memberships run from May 1 to April 30
