My name may be familiar to some of you around Calgary who have owned modems for your PCs from the time before the Internet became a household term. I ran "Lloyd's Fido", a MS-DOS oriented Fidonet BBS, from 1986 to 1992. I shut the BBS down when I got interested in Linux and needed the phone line the BBS was using for larger things, like UUCP.
