I graduated with honors from the world renowned Percussion Institute of Technology (PIT) in Hollywood, California in September of 1992. During my time there I was fortunate to study with some of the most respected and recognizable music educators in the world. I cherish my time there, and was thrilled to have it culminate in my winning the Human Relations award. I have since won several awards that I am very proud of, including a Canadian Country Music Association’s award for Back-up Band of the Year 1998, for my work with the Duane Steele Band. Also, I was fortunate enough to receive the Canadian Country Music Association’s award for All-Star Band (Drums) in 2000 and 2001. I was equally thrilled to receive the Session Player of the Year award from the Alberta Recording Industries Association in 1999. |
