Farm Tours
Visit unique and amazing Ruckle Park on Salt Spring Island. As part of your trip, book a Farm Tour of the 200 acre organic heritage farm inside Ruckle Provincial Park.
Your tour guide, Mike Lane, has been involved with the farm since 1991 and still manages it's operation seeing to the daily well being of the animals. You will see the buildings and animals that make up the farm, and Mike can answer all your questions regarding the animals or farm management, the orchards, pasture rotation, haying, organic practices, and more.
The park accomdates visits from the tour buses with bus parking.

Come see the sheep flock and the highland cattle. Maybe there are young lambs, calves or chicks - timing is everything!
Learn about the history of this wonderful farm, how it was settled and developed by the Ruckle Family. Mike has many stories to keep you entertained!
You will see Mike put his dogs Nash and Mario, Welsh Border Collies, through their paces in a demonstration of sheep herding. You will see first hand how invaluable they are to the farm in working the animals.
