Driving Instructions

From the Tri-Cities and Ridge Meadows areas, head east on Lougheed Hwy (Hwy #7) out to Mission.  Once in Mission, head past the Shops at Mission Hills (Safeway, Shoppers Drug Mart, A & W, McDonalds) to Grand Street.  The Bellevue Hotel & Liquor Store are at this corner where you will turn left (north).  Head up Grand Street and go through the intersection at 7th Avenue (traffic light) and stay in the right lane.  Take the first right in to the parking lot of the Leisure Centre.

From the Aggasiz/Hope areas, head west on Lougheed Hwy (Hwy #7) to Mission.  When you pass the Tourist Information Centre building on your right, you will turn right (north) at the first traffic light, which is Stave Lake Street.  Head up Stave Lake Street, in the left lane, to 7th Avenue.  At 7th Avenue, turn left (west).  There is a corner store on your left at this intersection.  Head west on 7th Avenue to Grand Street (first traffic light) and turn right (north) on to Grand Street.  Stay in the right lane and take the first right in to the parking lot of the Leisure Centre.

From Highway #1 (Trans-Canada Highway), take exit #92 (Hwy #11 - Mission/Abbotsford/Sumas, USA exit).  Turn/bear right when you come off the exits to join up to Highway #11 northbound.  Follow the Hwy #11 signs north to Mission.  It is approx. 11 kms to Mission.  As you cross over the Fraser River via the Mission Bridge, follow Hwy #11 to the left, staying in the right hand lane.  (note the reduced 60 km/h speed zone as you come off the bridge!  Radar!)  You will come to a traffic light which will be the Lougheed Hwy (Hwy #7).  Turn right (east) at this traffic light and follow Lougheed Hwy (Hwy #7) for 1.2 kms to the Bellevue Hotel & Liquor Store where you will turn left (north) on to Grand Street.  (make sure you have your seat belt on!)  Head up Grand Street and go through the intersection at 7th Avenue (traffic light) and stay in the right hand lane.  Take the first right turn in to the parking lot of the Leisure Centre.

From the Sumas, USA/Huntingdon, BC border crossing, once you cross in to Canada, Washington State Route (SR) #9 turns in to BC Highway #11.  Follow Highway 11 north, underneath the Trans-Canada Highway overpass (approx. 1.6 km or 1 mi from the border).  Stay on Hwy #11 and follow the signs to Mission.  It is approx. 11 kms (7 miles) to Mission.  As you cross over the Fraser River via the Mission Bridge, follow Hwy #11 to the left, staying in the right hand lane.  (note the reduced 60 km/h (40 mph) speed zone as you come off the bridge!  Radar!)  You will come to a traffic light which will be the Lougheed Hwy (Hwy #7).  Turn right (east) at this traffic light and follow Lougheed Hwy (Hwy #7) for 1.2 kms (.7 miles) to the Bellevue Hotel & Liquor Store where you will turn left (north) on to Grand Street.  (make sure you have your seat belt on!)  Head up Grand Street and go through the intersection at 7th Avenue (traffic light) and stay in the right hand lane.  Take the first right turn in to the parking lot of the Leisure Centre.
