St. Vladimir's Sadochok is a Ukrainian Bilingual Pre-school. We provide a warm, accepting environment which stimulates creative, emotional, social, intellectual and physical growth in the children.
Three year old program
Monday and Wednesday mornings, 9:15 am to 12:00 pm.
Four year old program
Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9:15 am to 12:00 pm
The day begins in a full-sized gymnasium complete with play areas designed to develop gross and fine motor skills. The children have circle time to welcome each other to school, gym time promoting creative play and providing an opportunity for physical development, snack time, songs, story time, arts and crafts to build, and a well-equipped outdoor playground.

Sadochok also offers field trips during the year. In the fall we go to Butterfield Acres, where the children get to go on a "harbooze" (pumpkin) hunt, and in February we go to Canada Olympic Park, where the children can take lessons on downhill skiing. We also celebrate all traditional and Ukrainian holidays throughout the year and add some special days, like pajama day and teddy bear's picnic day.
The crafts are culturally significant and include baking traditional breads - kolachy and babka, pysanka writing (decorating Easter eggs), dancing, singing, and creating Thanksgiving and Easter baskets that get blessed at the adjoining church!
