Connections

James Grant and Marjory McPhail of Nairn, Scotland had a large family.  Three of their children emigrated to Canada.  

Donald (b. 1807) married Bella McIntosh and settled near Maxville, Ont. 

Isabel (b. 1810) married Donald McIntosh and settled near Rivington, PQ.

Alexander R. Grant (b. 1803) and Mary Fraser (b. 1802, m. 1826) came to Glengarry Co, Ontario in 1832 and settled near Dunvegan.

The descendants of Alexander and Mary held a Grant/Fraser family reunion on July 26/27, 2008 near Dunvegan where they originally settled.
