Where to put your Branding

As I already said, your branding needs to be used consistently throughout your business materials. Repetition and consistency are key. The more times someone is exposed to the same message, the more likely they are to remember it.

Think about it, do you (still) know the rest of the words to this little ditty: "Two all beef patties, special sauce..." How much do you think McDonald's spent on that advertising campaign in order to get that message across? I'll be willing to bet your budget is not quite so hefty!

Obviously, your branding (business name, logo and tag line) is going to be visible on all of your marketing materials, media materials, and special promotional products. But there are a few less obvious places where you should also think about including your branding.

Your vehicle can become a traveling billboard once you put your business name on it. At your local print shop it is relatively inexpensive to have your name / logo done up as a decal that can be placed on your side window. Keep your message short and your font big. And remember, if your name is on there you have to drive nicely!

Once your business is advertised on your vehicle, how will you get your business cards into the hands of people who see it? With the Card Caddie of course! This is a weatherproof vehicle business card holder that relieves your potential customers from the burden of trying to remember your contact information - they can take it with them!

Baseball caps and t-shirts with a company logo are not just for the big companies anymore. At Cafe Press or Zazzle you can make 1 or 2 promotional products at a time without a huge investment. Promote yourself wherever you (or your children) go.
