Letterhead
This letterhead was created using Microsoft Word, by putting a 2-column table in the header with the logo in the left column and the tag line and contact information in the right column. By including her branding on her letterhead, the business owner is taking advantage of an opportunity to promote her business without having to "market" it in the body text. She has also added a promotional offer in the footer that can be changed and updated as often as she likes.

Take it one step further as in this example. This event planning company has listed their services on the company letterhead. Again use Microsoft Word and set up the letterhead as above. In the body go to Format - Columns. Choose a 2 column layout, and uncheck the "equal column width" box. I have the first column set at 1.5" and that is where I placed the list of services. After you have typed your list, go to Insert - Break - Column to take you to the body of your letter.
