Nature Trail, Alix
Directions
from
Red Deer
to Alix ~ approximately a 45 minute drive
Head
east on Highway 11 past
Parkland
Nurseries. You will cross the
Red Deer river and pass the Nova Chemical Joffre plant turn off ~ Follow
the signs to Stettler. There
will be a sign that says Alix 7 km (Highway 601), turn left.
Follow 601 until it intersects with Hwy 12 east. On your left will
be a malt plant, again turn left onto Highway 12.
There are 2 entrances into Alix, ignore the first one, take the
second (left). You will see the Alix Arena, turn left.
There is a yellow building that says "Chicken Louie
Tours" ~ across the road is a small park with some picnic tables
where we will meet.
Directions
from Lacombe to Alix ~ approximately 20 minute drive
Head
east on Highway 12 until you come into Alix, take the first entrance
(right) and then left at the arena.
