Next Walk ~ Sunday 30 November, 1:00 pm - Heritage Ranch

Central Alberta Greyhound Walking Club needs YOU!

To make this club successful we need your membership.  Membership is informal - there are no fees, applications or secret hand/paw shakes.  What we do need is for you to come to the walks with your pups and show everyone what makes our greyt furry friends such special companions.  We would like to create a members page for our site and would appreciate it if you could email your grey photos along with their name, sex, date of birth and owner's first name.  A contact email address and/or phone number would also be welcome (so that we can notify you of upcoming walks/events and cancellations etc).  Your contact information would NEVER be displayed or given out to ANYONE without your prior consent.

Where should we walk?

Variety is the spice of life so please email us with your idea of a greyt place for our club walks.  Suggested locations so far include Bower Ponds, MacKenzie Trails and Heritage Ranch.

Red Deer meet and greets

A meet and greet is one of the best ways of showing everyone what kind and gentle dogs greyhounds are.  They usually take place twice a month at either Petsmart or Petland.  Red Deer meet and greets are hosted by Chinook Winds Greyhound Rescue Foundation.  If you would like more information about bringing your hound to a meet and greet please contact Sonia Pezzack - her number is 403.309.5559
