The following family tree was created and maintained in the mid-90's by my brother, Carl Pettypiece, who presently lives in Ilderton, Ontario, after much research and consultation with others including a lot of research done by my late father, Harper J. Pettypiece, as well as Jan Livingston and cousin Michael Cowan. As it grew and took on a life of its own, it became too big for one person to handle effectively, especially with other distractions in life, like family and career. After all the effort that Carl put into it, I wanted to be sure it remained available to those who were interested in it. It was last updated by Carl in January 2000.
I made a few minor updates within my immediate family but in the last few years have been unable to keep it up to date.

Frames can be a little tricky sometimes, especially with some browsers. I have tried to place a 'Back' button on most pages but it should only be used if there's a single frame showing -- it takes you back to the main tree and if there's two frames, there'll be two trees. On a few, I've put in a 'Back to previous name' which can be used anytime.
