b. 1891; d. 1960. m. Winifred KEMP (b. 1899; d. 1987). He was a life-long resident of Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada and was clerk-treasurer of Amherstburg for 16 years. His knowledge of municipal affairs was known throughout Essex County. As a veteran of World War One, he served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force in France and was a victim of a German gas attack in 1917. He is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Amherstburg.
