b. 1862 in Anderdon Township, Essex County, Ontario, Canada; d. 12 Dec 1935 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Windsor, Ontario, Canada. In the spring of 1881, he was living with his aunt Ann (widow of Anthony PETTYPIECE) and her family, in Anderdon Township. He moved to Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada when he was about 21 years old and for years was employed at the S.O. Johnson Estate, and at various positions in that town. He never married. He is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Amherstburg.
