Id like to thank Andras for his Mapviewer program and help in creating these maps. Plus the World Monitoring Bot to update citizen names in the above worlds.

XelaG for his great Xelagot Bot that did the world survey for the maps and the great map locator script that make them interactive for all citizens to use.

Thanks to THE JOKER SS o for updating the Awteen registry and helping in passing information on to others.

Foxy for his AW-Mapper FrontEnd Great program features.

Gandalf, Mountain Myst and Poseidon for ideas and getting me the bot access.

A little history of the Awteen map

What is it
A large area build composed of 225 pictwlkh.rwx 15 x 15 matrix creating a map of the world Awteen. located @ Awteen 2100n 2100e

Created
The first Awteen map I made was I think in Nov 2001 It was a smaller version of the one today 36 pictwlkh.rwx 6x6 matrix. I didn't build it from scratch I got the Bmp from the News groups. Andras Sarkozy made these every 3 months.
Purpose
Help find builds with the use of marker flags and a Xelagot bot called Mapper. Aide in looking for open ground for building projects.

How to use the map
Easy. All around the perimeter are colored flags and what the colors represent. Red flags are must see, white are Individual builds blue are Awteen etc. Find the flags that interest you and click on them. They're all teleport enabled. The flags, while only displaying a small fraction of the constructs categorize builds for easy exploration. Flags marking builds are constantly being added on request Also this is the best feature a  Xelagot  bot  ( Made by Alex Grigny de Castro )called Mapper is always there to help locate your position on the map relative to the world. All you have to do is whisper "give location" and Mapper will reply with your world coords What can be easier. [Mapper]: Ptolemy, the world location on the map is at 195.2n 968.4e 0.0a 26.0. I prefer to whisper so as not to interfere with other explores. You can ask out loud if you want.

How was it all made
It all starts with the Remote Administrative prop of Awteen by the Xelagot bot. Originally the bot took four days now its around eight since the recent increase in the size of the world. This is the reason when you see my +/- dates for the maps. The Dump is  acquired starting at GZ moving North to South in a West direction then when it reaches 3000w it starts again at 3000e moving West to GZ So a build may be scanned on 23 May at 0 n 300w but a build at 0n 1800e will be scanned 29 May

Next after acquiring the Propdump I use Mapviewer ( Created by Andras Sarkozy ) to create the Map in a bmp format. This utility creates a colored image of either Objects, Builders or Dates of builds. It also generates for each, an Object and Citizens list if selected. Few people know, I also with the use of this utility can find builds for them. In less than 10 minutes All your lost stuff can be found again. Note I only look for personal builds not other peoples. Andras helped me allot in the setting up the software giving me pointers and the original color files to get started. Thanks again Dude.

Step three putting the map online. Each image is restricted to a small file size so to keep the resolution up the Awteen.bmp is sliced up into a  225 pictwlkh.rwx 15 x 15 matrix. There was a number of reasons I picked this amount and the size of the pic not the least was Mr. Building Inspector. Originally there was a ton of flags everywhere for grid points. Later with the Bot I removed 70% which helped in the lag department.

With the Xelagot bot a major hurdle was removed for exploration. Now you can stand anywhere and ask Mapper were you are and immediately get a response. The Bots been on 24/7 and will remain on, since I acquired the Script that makes it all happen from Alex Grigny de Castro. I was amazed at the quick reply from Alex when I emailed him for help. Next day service lol. Thank you Alex the map project wouldn't be half as good with out your help.
