SEQUENCINGSequencing: using patterns of music to electronically (digitally) record a musical composition using MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface).
Available to musicians, singers, teachers and multi-media applications, we'll sequence your original songs, production tunes, commercial projects and other musical applications which require professional and personal service. We provide you with: Fully produced songs and other MIDI related productions, personal service, consultation, professional advice and after sales support.
Sequenced Arrangements are one of the hardest things to budget for. Because of their nature, they are the easiest to edit. Editing takes time and costs money, therefore the best thing to do is to know what you're after before you begin. Give the arranger examples on tape or CD of what you are interested in rather that just explaining that you want a "jazzy kind of thing". Your terminology and the arranger's could be and are probably completely different, therefore either know what you want or know your arranger's style. Custom sequence arrangements will cost between $200 & $500 per song.
Music Preparation (copying) and Engraving..
Music Preparation (copying) and Engraving ........ $$$ varies with type
√ Priced per frame - a frame is one measure of one staff that contains music .Music Preparation refers to the copying and/or editing of music already written in some form -- traditionally paper, but may include computer readable forms that can be printed. Some music may still be written by hand in the case of specialized composition scores and parts (paper, "onion skin" or vellum), but most work, today, is computer-generated via one of notation programs. We're experienced at preparing all types of written music for the press or the web, from vocal piano scores to broadway show and avant garde classical scores and parts.

MUSIC and SOUND for Internet Home Pages ....
The Web has become a competitive place. With millions of Web sites competing for exposure, cool graphics are no longer enough to attract, inform, and entertain people visiting your Web site. They need to HEAR your message. ref. Web developer's guide to Music and Sound by Simpson / Helmstetter
CMP (Canada Music Projects) in association with other creative artists, will create and design sound and music to your needs and liking, offering you numerous choices of music styles. These sounds can then be included in your Home Pages as part of the HTML language.
If you are looking for a special song or specific material for an occasion, an idea for a musical, need a jingle for radio, or youve written lyrics that would be great if they were set to music, see what we can do for you. A lot of musical ideas are lost to the world because of the technical aspects of music.
This is where we come in to help you realise your musical dreams. Well write that jingle or song for you.

Rates given below. Our written music is done on computer and is suitable for copyright registration, presentation to professional performers or for music publication.Song Leadsheets consist of melody line, chord symbols and words
Variable rates reflect the length and/or complexity of songs.
- from complete sketch (recopy & edit)................. $35-$50
- from cassette or CD and lyric sheet................... $50-$80
Tips for songwriters : Use leadsheets for copyrighting your songs.Publishers like leadsheets for sending to their publishing and recording affiliates, for their arrangers, and to give artists (along with demo tapes) to try out songs for possible recording. Make their work easier.
Leadsheet Arrangements for club singers.......... $45-$125 depending on length & complexity desired.
Tips for club singers : If you work with a 2-4 piece rhythm section, many of your "arrangements" can be prepared as multi-photocopied "leadsheet arrangements" with intros, words, melodies, chord
symbols, key changes, transitions, rhythm cues and fills. These can speed up your group's rehearsal time. A really experienced professional rhythm section could often sight-read your charts at
on-the-spot performances. Price range $45-125 depending on length and complexity desired - arrangement plus copy by estimate.
RECORDING MUSICIANS FOR HIRE.....
Hiring Professional Musicians can be the most expensive part of recording an album, but if you cut corners in this area it can become even more costly in the editing and mixing stage. The average rate starts at $50 per hour, yet some musicians with known album credits can get $100-$200 per song.
Below is one example:
4 Piece Studio Band - 10 songs recorded in 8 hours
(Piano/Bass/Drums/Guitar) per musician $400 x 4 = $1600 approx.Experienced Producers will tell you that using your Uncle Bob to play drums, because he'll do it for free and save you $400, will cost you more than that during editing and mixing as you try to clean up the tracks. Sometimes it can cost much more because the artist decides it isn't happening and now needs to re-record the tracks with the
drummer the Producer recommended in the first place. (Sorry Uncle Bob)Other costs such as Editing and Mastering vary greatly depending on what is needed and the hourly rate of the studio
