The Ridge Community League, in cooperation with other Riverbend and Terwillegar community
leagues, offers a variety of sports and other programs throughout the year:


Community League Wellness Program

Present your valid Edmonton Community League membership card at any one of the City of Edmonton’s sports and fitness facilities and choose from the following Community League Wellness Products:

Community League members who purchase the above passes will be issued a photo access card which is to be swiped at each admission.  For more information, please call 944-7744 or visit www.edmonton.ca/wellness.

Free Activities

Community League Members Swim

A free, drop-in swim for the whole family every Sunday 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Confederation Leisure Centre, 11204 – 43 Avenue.   Bring your current community league membership card.

Indoor Public Ice Skating

Free indoor public skating is available at a number of City Arenas for all residents of Edmonton sponsored by the City of Edmonton and the Kinsmen Club of Edmonton.    View the public skating schedule for times and locations on the City of Edmonton's website under Attractions & Recreation/Arenas.

Brookside Rinks at 53 Avenue & 143 Street (south of Brookside School)
Brookview Rinks on Bulyea Road behind G.H. Luck School

Skating Ponds - weather permitting

Butterworth Dry Pond (Brookview)
Whitemud Creek Skating Pond (Ogilvie Blvd.)
 

The boarded rinks will be closed in extremely cold weather and snowbank rinks and skating ponds are unsupervised and conditions depend on the weather.  Maintained with the support of your community league. Please bring your skate tags.
