Right Arm Before Acupuncture Right Arm After Treatments •"For 20 years I have suffered with psoriasis. In 2003 I was diagnosed with psoriatic anthropy (arthritis) in my feet. Last fall (2008) it ballooned out of control. I had been prescribed every medication available and had been taking light treatment 2-3 times a week, which just seemed to be making it worse. It was red, hot, sore and embarrassing. My dermatologist recommended a very potent oral medication that, although may have worked, would also have significantly compromised my liver.
I had the pleasure of meeting and being trained by Rebekah McPhee when I first trained for my Occupational First Aid certification. I felt an immediate connection with her and was delighted when she was also my trainer for recertification two years later. At that time Rebekah was in the midst of completing her education in Chinese medicine and acupuncture. It was something I have always been intrigued with and when I ran into her one day she gave me her card. I kept that card in my wallet for a long time.
At the end of my rope emotionally and exhausted with coping with my worsening psoriasis, I called Rebekah. April 30 2009 was my first treatment. Six weeks later my arms were %95 clear and my legs 95% clear. My nails and scalp continue to improve. The constant ache in my feet is virtually gone.
