| We certainly enjoyed the ride Jez took us on during her time in the conformation ring. To her credit, she is a Group placing, multi Best of Breed and a Best of Breed Specialty winning bitch. She has also proven that she is a priceless brood bitch. She has produced three litters for Ashemburg and each time she was a fantastic Mom! She has passed her gentle, loving disposition onto her progeny and we are very proud of that. |

| Jez has beautiful expression with a large but distinctly feminine head, good angles, substantial forechest and depth of chest, and a solid topline. Her markings are clearly defined and rich mahogany in colour. She is a medium sized bitch weighing 89 lbs. and measuring 24 1/2". |

| Jez has accompanied us on so many exciting and incredible journeys since coming home with us as a puppy. No matter what task we've faced her with she has always come out shining like a diamond on the other end. Like the day of her first conformation show. She handled it like a pro and walked away with Reserve Winners Bitch her first time in the ring. Finishing her Canadian Championship at only 9 months of age and then going on to mulitple Best of Breed wins (always over Specials competition) as an adult. Or, the day we put her through her Temperment Test. It was hot and she was a "momma to be", but she never faltered a step and walked away with her TT. Or, being at the mercy of very inexperienced breeder hands and confidently and calmly whelping three litters for us. Always a lady, always a pro, always a fantastic mother. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the two times that she has protected our home and our family when she had too. Showing the natural instinct of a guardian that this breed was founded on. There was the day in August, 2005 when we walked her into an arena with sheep, un-did her leash and turned her loose. She took after those sheep like she'd been herding for years, when in fact she'd never even SEEN sheep before. She left the arena that day with her HIC title. And most recently, again with very inexperienced hands on her leash entering the obedience ring for the very first time and, despite handler errors, picking up the first leg to her Pre-Companion Dog title. And, rendering a repeat performance the second day to gain her second leg in two consecutive trials. Jez went on to complete her PCD title in three straight trials. While she struggled a little more in the novice ring (the tossing of the dumb bell in the utility ring next to us proved far more interesting than off leash heeling!) she completed her CD qualifying in 4 out of 6 trials, with two 2nd in Class placements. Perhaps the future will find her trying her paw at some herding titles......we shall see how things go after she is finished whelping and rearing her last litter. |

| For us, the pinnacle of her career was to follow in her great grandmother's (Am. CH. Gamegard's Femme Fat'al) pawprints and be awarded Best Dam & Progeny at the 2006 RCC Alberta Prairies Regional Specialty. This is a very special win for us. Words cannot describe how we feel about this girl!! |

| At 4 1/2 yrs. of age Jez attended her first Sieger show and received an SG (very good) rating from ADRK Judge Werner Walter. We feel she may have done even better had we had her in better condition. |

| We couldn't be more proud of Jez, and we owe her so much for all that she has given us and taught us along the way. Now, to have the privilege of watching her kids grow and mature and begin to take their first steps towards their future successes - the feeling of pride and accomplishment is undescribable. If anyone were to ever ask "Why do you breed?", I would have to say that that is why. To watch the traits be passed from one generation to the next, to watch the little ones grow from a tiny mass that fit in the palm of your hand to a robust, thriving teenager and then adult, to relish every moment along the way. The big successes and the small ones. Even the set backs as that is where we learn and grow. |

| Jez was retired from our breeding program in April of 2007 after her third and final litter. She has put 26 puppies on the ground with the Ashemburg name. To date, she has 4 Canadian Champions to her credit, a BPISS & BPIG winner, four more kids CKC pointed and some promising youngsters coming up the ranks. She has 4 kids with HICs, 3 with TTs and a few getting ready to trial in obedience and herding. More important than any show win, she has 26 kids on the ground making wonderful companions for their loving owners and great ambassadors of the breed! We couldn't ask for more! |

| She has now officially added the coveted "title" of HRH (Her Royal Highness) to her name. She will live her remaining days being pampered, spoiled and the forever treasured foundation of our breeding program. |
