| We finished two new Champions this weekend! We are proud to introduce CH. Ashemburg's Majestic Ice HIC a.k.a. Jake and CH. Ashemburg's Frozen Asset CD RN CGN HIC TT a.k.a. Uzza. Jake finished going Best of Winners for a 3 point win and Uzza took home 5 points over the weekend - a 3 point Winners Bitch & Best of Opposite Sex (over a BIS winning female Special!) and a 2 point Best of Winners. |

| Let us not forget the working abilities of Team ICE. Over in the obedience building Shiver and her owner Carol Gardon earned the first two legs of Shiver's Pre-Companion Dog title (PCD). One more to go! |

| Oakley and Shiver had a great time at the Vicklund Herding Clinic south of Calgary. I am so pleased to know that Oakley still loves to herd! All this time I thought she quit on me - not at all! She just needed a breath of fresh air! |

| In Northern BC Wager makes her Specials debut and comes homes with a Group 4 placement! What a nice honour for our promising youngster only 16 months old and placing among some of Canada's top working dogs! Thank you to Natasha for showing her for us. |

| Ashemburg Reg'd. Rottweilers decended upon Calgary's annual heart & eye clinic! All 7 Ashemburg bred dogs in attendance passed hearts & eyes! Congrats to Shiver, Uzza, Rayden, Jake, Wager, Vandal and Ezee. |

| In addition, 7 pups sired by our Vader were also in attendance and all 7 of them passed hearts and eyes as well! Way to go Ruckus, Lexi, Kalli, Digit, Brogan, Kelso and Kratos! |

| Team ICE had another GREAT weekend & we couldn't be more proud! Jake a.k.a. Ashemburg's Majestic Ice HIC picked up another 3 points towards his Championship going WD & BOW both days! He would've finished his Championship if a certain someone, who will remain un-named, had shown up on Sunday and not broken the points. Grrrr! Special thanks to Judges Mr. John Rowton and Mr. Alvin Krause for noticing Jake's virtues and comparing him to the male Special for the breed both days! What an honour it was to even be considered! As it turned out Jake went home on the dreaded 9. Here's hoping his stay on 9 isn't very long! Over in the Rally rings Shiver and Carol made their trial debut as a team. They did a tremendous job for their first time out, starting & completing Shiver's Rally Novice (RN) title in one weekend with a 3rd in Class placement on her 3rd leg. They just kept getting better as the weekend went on! Congratulations! Shiver is now known as CH. Ashemburg's Feelin' The Chill RN STDd CGN HIC TT. |

| On Saturday Carol & Shiver earned Shiver's Canine Good Neighbour (CGN) title! This weekend marked Uzza's return to the conformation ring. On Sunday Uzza went Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex over the female Special for a 2 point win. She is now sitting on 6. Vader's son, Mac, finished his Championship before 1 year of age going BOW, WD & BP all 3 days! Mac is Vader's 3rd CKC Champion of record. Congrats to his owners Rick & Sandy Lavallie, and thanks to Kim Zippel for piloting Mac to his Championship. Mac is now officially known as CH. Ashemburg's Phantom Menace. Vader's daughter, Ripley went RWB on Saturday. |

| It was a fun weekend in Camrose for our first weekend out in 2009! Saturday morning Uzza earned the first leg of her Rally Advanced (RA) title!! In the afternoon it was over to the conformation ring where Vader's daughter, Ripley a.k.a. Ashemburg's Marvel of Coulee went Winners Bitch her first time in the ring to earn her first CKC point! Ripley is Vader's 4th kid currently on their way to their Championship, with 2 CKC Champions to his credit already. Sunday, Vader's son Mac a.k.a. Ashemburg's Phantom Menace (Ripley's brother) went Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best Puppy in Breed for another two points on his tally. He is now sitting on 7. Reserve Winners Dog went to Ashemburg's Majestic Ice HIC a.k.a. Jake (Uzza's big brother) making for an Ashemburg dog sweep on the boy's side! |

| Vader's kids have been showing off in the ring again this weekend. Down in Calgary his 10 month old son, Mac a.k.a. Ashemburg's Phantom Menace goes WD, BOW & BP on Friday and WD on Saturday landing him on 5 points towards his Championship in just two weekends of showing! Not to be outdone by his younger 1/2 brother, Vader's 18 month old son Ruckus a.k.a. Akamai's Bold Ruckus RN TT HIC went BEST OF BREED from the classes over 3 Specials, Breeder/Owner handled by Kristi Fraser, to boot! This win put Ruckus on 7 points! WooHoo! |
