Recent CPF Camrose Activities
Fun Nights French Family Fun Nights are
becoming a regular fixture of our CPF calendar, often running once a month. Our
FFFNs provide an opportunity for parents, children,
teachers, and community members to get acquainted. A wide range of activities
are planned for each event, and include things like popcorn and a brief
"show" at le cinéma, active games in the
gym, face painting, board games, crafts or story time. We have also had
surprise visits from guests such as Père Noël, and
special themes for holidays such as St Valentin and
St Patrick. These evenings are for all family members, with French spoken as
abilities allow.
Carnaval Another
CPF Camrose tradition has been our participation in Family Day activities at
Tutoring/Reading Club CPF Camrose is always
looking for ways to support our FI students. In 2006, we began a tutor list,
helping to match students and families seeking help with interested
French-speakers in the community. For a list of available tutors, contact us at

(Club de lecture) began in the Spring of 2007, and has
carried on throughout the 2007-2008 school year. We meet twice monthly in the
school library for an hour after school on Wednesdays, and kids can read aloud
to each other, do activity pages, or just curl up with a good book.
