Information:
Welcome to Birds
of Paradise! For those of you who are visiting this area for the first
time, we hope you experience and enjoy the people, weather, culture,
tremendous variety of arts, musical, theatric activities, as well as the
many different groups and organizations in the area. At Birds,
you will find a friendly atmosphere and a group of people of various
backgrounds who are willing to share their experiences and expertise when
needed.
The
following information has been prepared for newcomers to Birds
and the Lake Chapala area. We welcome any comments that would add to this
material.
Birds of Paradise
has been in operation since 1997. It is a 62-unit condo complex run by a
seven member Board of Directors. Gigi Mora, our Condo Manager, has been
with us since 1999, and has done an excellent job in keeping things
running smoothly. We have a wonderful staff of 8 people, which includes
24-hour security, housekeeping, gardening, and maintenance.
Starting
this winter (2007), we are planning orientation sessions for new
renters, not only to directly provide this information, but also to take
them on a ‘walk about’, so that they may more quickly acclimatize to
their new surroundings. These sessions will be run by volunteers, who will
be available to answer questions; the names and intercom numbers of the
volunteers will be listed on the Bulletin Board, adjacent to the pool.
