Essential Phone Numbers & Procedures
Phoning
All units are equipped with an intercom
phone connected to all other units, and to the condominium office. In
addition, most units are also equipped with a second Telmex connected phone
that can be used for all calls outside the complex.
Instructions for phoning on the Telmex
system are as follows:
For local calls: same as at home;
simply dial the number
For direct dial calls to
Canada/USA: dial 001, area code, number
For direct dial, long distance calls
inside Mexico: dial 01, regional number, phone number
For direct dial to any other country in
the world: dial 00, country code, area code, phone number
From Canada/USA to Birds of Paradise:
dial 011 52 376 766 1308
Please note that long distance charges will
be deducted from your deposit before it is returned.
Long term renters might consider a call
back service, which allows you to bypass Telmex, and provide significant
savings if you make a lot of long distance calls. You simply dial an
access number, hang up after it rings once, then you immediately receive a
call back from the provider, prompting you to dial the long distance
number you want.
