How to Decorate Pillar Candles
A wedding wouldn’t be complete without glowing candles. They make a room come alive. Colors glow, shadows flicker and dance. These are great ways to display your pillar candles.
Materials Needed:
- Square piece of wood
- Round piece of wood
- Clay saucers for flower pots
- Gold spray
- Lace paper doilies
- Pillar Candle
- Small flower
- 1/2" White, satin ribbon
- Glue gun and glue sticks
- White tacky glue
- Pearl sprays
Assembly:
- Spray the pieces of wood gold and the clay flower pot saucers with gold spray and allow them to dry thoroughly (about 2 hours). You may need two coats.
- Hot glue the saucers to the wood. Hot glue the floral and ribbon decorations.
- For the floral centerpiece, secure the ivy in a circle using bits of thin wire to hold it together.
- Hot glue the flowers into the ivy wreath.
- Use white glue to insert the pearl sprays. Hot glue melts the ends.
