  • Anti-bullying Unit - This unit was prepared for a grade 8 class in Australia as a literacy unit. There are links to other sites as well. Some excellent material.
  • Attitude - theappleaday.co.uk is a web site researched, written and designed by journalism students at City University, London. There is an article "Stick up for Yourself" by Debbi Marco, that is very interesting.
  • Bully Beware - A Canadian Site from British Columbia. Good section regarding what to do, how to do it, action schools can take.
  • Bullying.org - An excellent site that gives students a voice through pictures, poems, stories, and films. There are also many songs to listen to from artists such as Susan Algukark, Peter Yarrow and many others.

  • Let's Talk about Bullying - Gives scenarios for children to try out. Let's you know how people feel as a bully, bystander or victim and what you can do about it.
  • No Bully - Information for teachers, parents and students. Excellent site for all.

  • Sort It - Excellent list regarding bullying and how to stop it.
  • The Scottish Council for Research in Education - This site offers information to children who are being bullied and help for the parents as well. Other sites and papers are available.

  • Anti-bullying Network - The Scottish Executive has established the Network so that teachers, parents and young people can share ideas about how bullying should be tackled. It is freely open to all. The Anti-Bullying Network is part of the Positive School Ethos Programme which is based at Moray House Institute of Education.
  • Bully Beware - A Canadian Site from British Columbia. Good section regarding what to do, how to do it, action schools can take.
  • British Broadcasting Company - This is the learning division of the BBC. It also has a section on bullying.
  • Bullying at School - The Scottish Council Research in Education has some information about bullying and how to help schools.
  • Bully No Way - includes lots of information that can be used in many ways. Community Building, Pre-School, Students, Prents and media can find information on this site

  • Committee for Children - Programs for bullying, child abuse and viloence. There are also articles about bullying and emotional intelligence as well as statistics about bullying, violence and harassment (American stats)
  • CSEE- Understanding and preventing violence.
  • Easing the Teasing - this site was created by Judy S. Freedman, a licensed clinical social worker. It is designed for parents and teachers who want to help their children and students effectively deal with teasing.
  • Education World - Lesson plans and other links to sites about bullying. Plus a quiz students can take online to see if the know how often violence and bullying take place.
  • Free Spirit - A site that has a list of books that you can purchase, suggestions on how to cope with many things from bullying to LD.
  • No Bully - Information for teachers, parents and students
  • No Bully New Zealand - Kia Kaha is a school based program to help all members of the school communityfeel safe, respected and valued. Gives the information on the site. Divided into age groups.
  • No Bully Site - This site has been put together by the New Zealand police in support of all young people in New Zealand. It called Kia Kaha which means to Stand Strong. The whole school community must stand strong to eliminate bullying. Excellent resources.
  • Peace Builders - PeaceBuilders® is a long-term, community-based, violence reduction/crime prevention program. It is a program designed to help create an environment that reduces violence and establishes more peaceful ways of behaving, living and working in families, schools, organization and communities.
  • Peaceworks - bullying can be dramatically reduced by implementing effective bullying prevention programs in schools.
  • Safe Child - Information about bullying and the Safe Child program.
  • Serious Learning Behaviours - The Faculties of Education from the Universities of Lethbridge, Calgary and Alberta are conducting a collaborative three-year research program as part of the Safe and Caring Schools Initiative partially funded by Alberta Learning. The purpose of Tri-Faculty program is to establish a strong research base for understanding the nature of serious learning disruptive behaviour (SLDB) in Alberta schools and to investigate potential programs to promote growth and resiliency in children at-risk.
