On May 24, at just 8 months old, Reuben passed his Herding Instinct Test (HIC). What a fun day it was for all of us! This makes him the second Staffie to pass this test and possibly the youngest in Canada.
Well what can I say, he's not a boxer but has stolen our hearts none the less. Reuben comes to us from Wimaru Staffordshire Bull Terrier's Reg'd. I've always admired Stafford's as a breed. Having watched Dave and Jane's Staffie's over the past few years, I was convinced one day I would have one of these gentle and noble dogs.
When Jane and Dave offered us a puppy from Justice and Stanley's litter, I was totally caught off guard and thrilled at the same time. Needless to say, a few weeks later we brought young Reuben home to join our pack.
