Meager Creek Pictures
June 1999

The following pictures were taken at Meager Creek Hotsprings in June 1999. A new rock pool has been constructed in place of the lower wooden pool that was build in the mid 1980's. The old upper wooden pool has been removed. Three old rock pools beside Meager Creek are still there and two are usable for bathing.

Above is the new large rock pool with it's changing hut.
The pool is about 3 feet deep with some large submerged rocks around the sides to sit on.
It replaces the old lower wooden pool and is about the same size (20 feet long).
There's a large outhouse a short walk down the trail from here.

Here's a view of the new pool showing three hot waterfalls.
The waterfall at the left, in the trees, has a small sitting pool.

The picture above shows where the upper wooden pool used to be.
The waterfall near the upper center used to flow through a wooden trough and into the pool.
Grass is growing back in place of the pool.

A new trail comes from the day use parking lot, crosses the road bridge over Meager Creek, and parallels the creek through the forest. Here's a footbridge over a small creek. This trail ends at the new rock pool.
