Tetrahedron

This is my twice-daily rededication. It occupies something of the same position in my religious practice as The Lord's Prayer in Christianity; a short declaration of basic principles and a self-reminder of them, a spiritual re-anchoring. It is also the shortest statement I have to offer of my philosophy.

From my being,
from the world,
from my birth as a child of evolution,
I have three values:
life; truth; freedom.

And seeking with these my future,
facing the moment of all who become,
as humankind now has on Earth,
free to choose whether and how evolution may continue,
I find and accept another value,
love,
with this my quest:
the bringing into being, in human love, of God.
