Please know Tre would very much appreciate your visiting him! BEFORE YOU BEGIN A TRIP TO HERLONG, PLEASE BE CERTAIN YOU ARE ON THE "APPROVED VISITORS LIST". This is imperative, as folks trying to see Tre without "the official background check" being complete have been turned away after making the trip all the way to Herlong!!
Tre needs to mail a form to you prior to your visit, for a background check (all non-immediate family members). For more info on background checks, please see www.bop.gov/inmate_locator/background.jsp
Even after filling out and sending back your form to Herlong, this process may take several days or weeks! Please call the facility to enure your background check has cleared.
Your visit will mean the world to Tre, so please don't allow the process to discourage you from visiting him!!!! Next time you write to him, please include your full name and proper mailing address for him to mail you the necessary form.
Or you may email Shawna at seascarp@yahoo.com with your address and full name, and Tre will mail the necessary form to you for your visit. There may be a time delay in getting a message to Tre, so write him! He loves letters!
