The Arctic Wolf

Here is another shot of him, he's a handsome fellow isn't he?  I once was about a mile from camp, on foot when I noticed some wolves watching me. There were five of them, they watched while I finished what I was doing and then followed me back to camp. At no time did they look like they were ready to attack me, but had I fallen down that might have changed. I wasn't about to test the theory.
Here is a comment from Laurence who worked on a seismic crew for Panarctic:   My fondest memory of the wolf: I'll never forget the day
I was walking across the tundra, planting jugs, miles from anyone else, when
I could sense I was being watched. I stopped, turned the front of my parka
to the right and about 100' away was our friend sitting there just watching
me. No fear but an awesome connection and communication going on between us.
Who could come out of the arctic without remembering him.
