Rea Point,  December 1975 Latitude: 75.21.6 N Longitude: 105.43.3 W

Base Camp     Panarctic Oils Ltd. base camp at Rea Point, NWT. All the personnel working for Panarctic Oils came through this camp on their way north or south. All the non perishable supplies for the rigs came to Rea Point in the summer by ship and was then flown to the rig sites by Hercules aircraft as required.       At the height of operations there were about 150 flights a day in and out of Rea Point.
