Night Approach
A view from the cockpit of an aircraft while appraoching the runway at night. The runway was 200 feet wide and 6,000 feet long. Runway lights are 200 feet apart. The two bright lights to the left of the runway are the VASIS lights which give the pilot an indication of whether or not he is on the correct glide path. The group of lights to the far left are the lights of the Rea Point Camp. |
