A Herd of Muskox
The dominant male has come out to challenge the helicopter and protect the herd. If we had gone closer to get a better picture, the herd would have panicked and most likely run until they died. The very light trace of green is the grass. There is enough there to keep that herd in the area for a couple of months. |
