Lockheed Electra
One of Panarctic Oils Ltd. Electra aircraft. These aircraft hauled men and supplies from Calgary and Edmonton, and were also used to haul materials and fuel from the Rea Point base camp to the drilling rigs. They were later replaced by Boeing 727 and Boeing 737 jets operated by Pacific Western Airlines. |
