The two Electra aircraft owned by Panarctic Oils Ltd. were used to carry people and supplies to the Arctic sites from Calgary and Edmonton. This one is being serviced at the Rea Point base camp to ready it for the trip south. These aircraft worked around the clock, seven days a week and were only shut down for fueling and for maintenance. Panarctic's aircraft were exceptionally well maintained and had very few breakdowns. |
