Sabine Bay, July 1974 Latitude: 75.25.1 N Longitude: 109.59.3 W

The Summer Ocean     A view from the helicopter while flying over Sabine Bay, Melville Island. During the summer once the ice melted like this we could still land on it and walk around, but if a strong wind came up it might fill the bay with broken ice or it might clear all the ice out of the bay.
