A Rough Road
Travelling across the Arctic tundra could be difficult at the best of times. Of course there were no roads, but there was not a lot of snow on the hills. As long as a vehicle stayed in the shallow snow, travel was possible without clearing snow first. In this picture, the conditions were actually quite good. |
