High-Low Split Poker for Advanced Players

This book along with Doyle Brunson's "SUPER SYSTEM A Course in Power Poker" are hard to read and confusing.

These two books are useless. It gives bad advice like betting with a hand like A2346, because you'll somehow win half the pot. It's too confusing and technical.

I don't know how this thing got past the editors! Not everyone can read at a high school level!! I strongly recommend Girl's Poker Night instead. It's more fun, and it makes sense!!!

PartyPoker is Dangerous

This is warning to all poker players, expert and inexperienced players alike:

The13atman -> "There are a lot of "super duper" players at Party Poker. This is one of the biggest online poker sites on the internet right now. You have been warned!"

Children Should Stay Away from Poker

"With the success of the WPT, more young people are getting introduced to poker than ever before"

The world has gone crazy, children are now exposed to adult-oriented and perverted games like poker.  It is shocking how many vulnerable children watch the World Poker Tour and World Series of Poker.  Children 13 and under should stay in bed and not be watching poker.  It is a bad influence, in fact they should be no where near a poker table or casino.  Instead, children should watch MTV and look up to role models like myself rather than poker Gods like Doyle Brunson.  Oh by the way, young children are invited to come over to my house whenever they please.

Sincerely,
Michael Jackson ;)

Phil Gordon is a Cheater

Caught Red Handed! Take a look at page 61 of the June 4, 2004, Card Player.

Right there for the world to see:

Quote:

"Phil Gordon - Threw a Golf Ball 85 yards for a birdie."

The implications of this admission are profound: Not only did he blatantly defy the rules of the game by throwing the ball, he marked it down as a birdie!

Golf is the bedrock of dignity and integrity in the world of leisure and sporting past times.  There is nothing worse than being a cheater at golf.  Even I of all people follow the rules!

So, follow closely here, the article continues:

Quote:

"Playing in a New Game"

That's right, an admitted golf cheater is now talking about "Playing in a New Game" of poker.

How can the WPT still have this slime on board?  He defiles the whole operation.  Just the other night, I saw him put a death-grip on an opponent.  Oh, sure, he played it off as a joke, but it was way beyond that!

This guy is bad news.  Look at that honest face.  Oh, really?  Look a little closer, American Beauty.  The man is a schemer of the highest caliber.  This brings into question the means by which he acquired his internet stock fortune.  Lastly, he's not as tall as he appears, he must wear lifts...another sign of cheating.

Interesting Facts

ESPN Hilarity

Paul Phillips -> During "the nuts" segment in the pot limit Omaha final, they go to an interview with Sammy Farha where he says "sometimes you're playing next to someone who's been playing for two days, and they stink!"

Camera cuts to a close up of Eskimo Clark. And HOLDS.

Too funny!

Online Chat Censors

Paul Phillips -> I wrote something on FullTilt poker chat about having "encylclopedic knowledge" and it came out "encyclope%*(@&$nowledge".

That's pretty funny.  Their chat censor was too "clever" for me to sneak "dic k" by its watchful eye.
