Now I'm sure, like any good consumer, you may be a little apprehensive about mailing your hard-earned money to some unknown person who may just run off with your money. I can appreciate that, as I am very wary of doing business with people over the Web myself. I figure the best way to fight this fear, though, is to hear testimonials from others who have used my services. "I read the webpage and thought, 'How hard is this? Will I even get my CDs if I order? Will it take forever? Will a freak typhoon hit Taiwan and I will never know what happend to my stuff?!?!?!?!?' and much, much more. I, sadly, am running out of memory (wicked Sailormoon lyrics! Oh well...) and had to get a few things clarified. He was as helpful as the first time I talked to him and sometimes even more so!!!! He also has a sense-of-humor with endless bounds and is a realistic person. (Beej's response: This was on Order 016. I think it's perfectly fair that I get to listen to my CDs when I receive them. After all, people who live in Edmonton receive their CDs at least a day or two after I receive the package. Asking me to not open and enjoy my CDs is akin to asking them to do the same. I concede that the lack of envelopes was unforunate and indeed my fault. I felt I had more left than were available and when I saw what I had left, I felt I could make them cover the orders. They could not. However, I gave no timetable - I gave an estimate of how much time it should take for the CDs to leave Taiwan and arrive in my office, and another timetable for how long it should take for them to make it from my shipping the packages to their arrival at your door. I never give an exact date of delivery or 100% guaranteed time frame. I've been doing this too long and understand that delays do happen - especially delays that are neither my fault nor my wholesaler's fault. In this case, the CCRA had the CDs in Vancouver and were not allowing them into the country. I was not made aware of this until well after they were promised to be delivered by the courier. At that point, I had to interrupt my studies to facilitate the Customs paperwork - twice. As for Express mailing the CDs, I make no profit. I do not have funds for this venture outside of what you send me. Indeed, if you read the entirety of the Shoppe (like I recommend all potential orderers to do), you should come to that conclusion easily. This is not a business - this is a collective ordering proposition so that we can all save money on the purchase. I ship your CDs with the money you send me. To ask me to spend my own money on shipping your CDs by Express post is wishful thinking, to be blunt. If you have problems with this or any of my policies, please feel free to ask me about them.) I've just ordered 13 CD's from him and they were received timely and in perfect condition. From the moment I sent the money until I received the CD's Mr. Dery has kept me informed on the status of the order. I was hesitant myself at first, but many of the CD's I wanted can't be purchased through other more well-known sites so I took a chance. I'm more than happy I did because now I have what I want at a great price. I found this service to be trustworthy and am grateful that it exists.
