Northern Rails

The Canadian Prairie Region of the Operations Special Interest Group presents "Northern Rails".

Held in even numbered years, Northern Rails is a meet based out of Edmonton Alberta focused on model railroad operations. Organized by an informal group of modellers, the event features layouts in Edmonton and surrounding communities.

The following are currently in the planning stage:
• Friday evening Registration and 'Meet & Greet'.
• at least three separate operating sessions available for each participant.
• six+ "operations" focused home layouts in Edmonton and area.
• one or two Operations specific Clinics.
• Timetable.
• host hotel.
• the Edmonton Model Railroad Association's "Monashee Pacific Railway" will be available for 1 or 2 sessions.

A small registration fee will be charged to cover expenses.

Membership in the NMRA or OPSIG is not required but is highly encouraged.

NMRA and OPSIG membership application forms will be made available at registration for those interested.
