Kevin trained at South Seas Film & TV School in Auckland New Zealand in 2001. It was here in New Zealand that he got his broadcast experience as Presentation manager for a new TV Channel, The Living Channel. Since relocating in 2004 and setting up a multimedia edit suite in Victoria BC, Kevin has worked in various capacities for several different clients and on various programs:
-Audio Assistant (A2) - CBC/Out to See Prod. (Terry Fox 25th Anniversary Special) - Fall ‘05
-Assistant Editor - Mile Zero, a multi-episode pilot TV drama shot in Victoria Sept ‘05
Kevin has worked extensively the past 2 years with Rick Raxlen on many of Rick’s animated short films. They have been selected for viewing at Ann Arbor Film Festival, Ottawa Film Festival, Toronto and Vancouver, various local Victoria festivals. Kevin has worked with various independent directors in Victoria to produce several short videos.
Kevin’s post production studio is equipped with a High-Definition-Ready Apple Macintosh G5 and HD cinema screens, using Final Cut Pro Ver5 plus a separate ‘broadcast standard’ Avid Xpress DV editing system ver 4.6. In addition, Kevin has the capacity to make and transfer all footage to DVD, Video-CD, Mini-Dv tape or VHS tapes, in PAL or NTSC formats.
NEW: Kevin has recently acquired a Sony HDR-Z1U Hi-definition camera! So he’s now offering production ( Hi-Def shooting) as well as post-production editing!
