In 1800 telegraph communications started. From then on wires were need to be insulated. I had no idea there was such a interest, I had always liked the color ones. Last summer my wife and I were driving in Merritt B.C. and saw all this glass on rails in a small field, on our way back we saw sign "Insulator Show". So we stop and were shown hundreds and hundreds of different types of Insulators from all over the world and that has start me on collecting them too!, I all ways had one or two kicking around in my shop, but didn't think they could be worth thousands.(None of mine are) These are some I found around here in the Fraser Valley.
